When the world slowed to a near standstill in 2020, creativity found new ways to breathe. For Suzanne Houston Simms, the global pandemic did not mark a pause—it marked a beginning. In a time defined by uncertainty and mask mandates, Suzanne chose joy. “I felt compelled to create my own joy,” Suzanne reflects. Confined by circumstance yet inspired by imagination, she began designing private luxury masks, couture eyewear, and matching jewelry accessories—pieces that transformed necessity into art. Each creation carried intention: to celebrate beauty even in the most challenging moments.

That intention would soon resonate far beyond her studio.



The Birth of IC-Glam

In 2020, Suzanne officially founded IC-Glam Jewelry Art Studio in Florida. What started as a personal sanctuary of creativity quickly grew into a bold fashion statement. Her designs were not simply accessories; they were experiences—crafted to uplift, empower, and celebrate individuality.

By 2021, IC-Glam stepped confidently onto the international stage. Suzanne showcased her work publicly for the first time during Stockholm Beauty Week, marking a turning point that transformed a private vision into a global presence. Soon after, IC-Glam traveled to International Fashion Week Paris, followed by Milan Fashion Week (MFW) in 2022, where Suzanne collaborated with Italian fashion designer Waletty.

From the United States to Sweden, France, Italy, Germany, the UAE, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and beyond, IC-Glam became synonymous with couture eyewear that radiates joy.
